It sounds revolutionary, but the real question remains: Does it genuinely enhance learning, or is it a distraction cloaked in the allure of innovation? In my daughter’s school, teachers still struggle with integrating AI tools effectively. They lack the necessary training to wield these new technologies to their full potential. This isn’t unlike the startups I mentor, where founders often become enamored with the latest tech, forgetting that the tool is only as good as the problem it solves.
Rhea’s school is not alone in this. Across the board, AI has infiltrated educational systems, promising individualized learning and unprecedented engagement. Yet, I’ve observed that the implementation often leaves much to be desired. Schools adopt these technologies faster than they can evaluate their effectiveness, much like an investor chasing the next big thing without due diligence.
