Super100 JEE initiative

Super100 JEE: Democratizing IIT Dreams with AI + Educational PCs

The Hypothesis

Bright students from low-income backgrounds often fail to reach their full potential in JEE because they lack access to quality teaching and waste time/money on commercial coaching. If we equip these students with educational computers powered by AI tutors, they can self-learn, prepare effectively, and outperform peers—without needing expensive tuitions.

Target Group

  • Eligibility: Government school students
  • Academic requirement: Toppers in 10th and 11th grade (verified via mark sheets)
  • Background: Low-income households

Selection Process

Students fill out an application form.

Mandatory requirement: Each applicant must create their own website.

This ensures digital literacy from Day 1.

Website acts as their portfolio + public diary of learning.

Selection committee shortlists 100 students (Super100) based on merit + motivation. We will give first preference to students who will work together in groups of 2-3, because learning is a social activity !

Conditions for Selected Students

Educational PC provided (preloaded with AI tutors, practice material, exam prep tools).

Student Safety Solution embedded → allows real-time tracking of their learning journey.

Students must update their website daily with:

Short videos (in local Indic languages)

Comics, articles, or reflections on what they learned that day

Teaching others becomes part of their learning → “Learn by teaching” model.

Benefits

For Students

  • Free from exploitative tuition fees.
  • 24×7 AI-powered tutor customized to their pace.
  • Builds confidence in self-learning.
  • Develops communication & digital literacy skills.

For Society

  • Each student becomes a role model and micro-teacher for peers.
  • Content created in Indic languages helps spread knowledge to a wider audience.
  • Creates a scalable open repository of JEE learning content accessible to all.

Why This Works

  • Merit filter (only toppers join, ensuring motivation & discipline).
  • Website requirement → weeds out passive applicants, attracts self-driven learners.
  • Daily sharing → builds consistency, accountability, and peer impact.
  • Student safety solution → provides transparency and data for continuous improvement.

Next Steps

  1. Design application form (eligibility + website requirement).
  2. Finalize educational PC package (AI tutors, safety, monitoring).
  3. Outreach to government schools for applications.
  4. Selection of first Super100 cohort.

Launch digital commons where all their websites are indexed for public learning.
